Online Advertising Sales Executive
Role Overview:
- Imageshack is looking for a highly self-motivated, savvy media sales professional to join our team. The role will be responsible for the generation of growth of online display advertising for Imageshack Corporation.
- The ideal candidate has a proven track record in online media sales at an ad network, social media publisher, or major portal site.
- Responsibilities include meeting target revenue goals in the defined region or category, management, and effective recruiting.
- You must be results driven.
- This media sales professional is expected to understand and be able to clearly articulate the Imageshack value proposition and business objectives to the advertising community.
- Location – New York City.
Details:
- Proactively prospect, qualify, grow and maintain a list of assigned accounts.
- Hit target annual revenue quota.
- Engage and strategize with senior executives at client companies and agencies to demonstrate how Imageshack can drive results to their business.
- Develop and cultivate deep relationships with client and agency teams.
- Proactively manage performance oriented accounts and/or campaigns to drive incremental revenue.
- Pitch new business to advertising agencies and direct clients.
- Assure proper delivery, implementation and optimization of online campaigns.
- Act as liaison on all service, payment, reporting, and product related issues.
- Update and create sales proposals and maintain customer information in Imageshack’s CRM platform.

Requirements
- Candidates must have deep understanding and relationships within the advertising agency community in New York City.
- Proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships.
- Solid understanding of online advertising and marketing, including pricing structures (CPM, CPC, CPA, etc).
- BA/BS Degree.
- 2-3 years of media sales experience.
- Relationships with the top marketing agency decision makers.
- Demonstrated track record of structuring and managing negotiations to successful closure, delivery and renewal.
- Excellent communication, analytical, time management and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of the Internet industry.
Manager, Ad Operations
Role Overview:
- Imageshack is looking for a Manager of Ad Operations. We are looking for a highly productive and proactive individual contributor who can also lead, process, and facilitate across teams.
- This position will be responsible for coordinating a small team that is tasked with the seamless delivery of advertising programs including ad creative, deadlines, technical implementation, and tracking of campaigns.
- The Manager, Ad Operations is required to be an expert in ad management and ad serving platforms with a strong ability to resolve issues that arise during the lifetime of a campaign.
Details:
- Implement media campaigns across multiple ad serving platforms (DFP, GAM, ADTECH).
- Coordinate with Engineering and Sales teams to drive the successful launch and management of existing ad products and custom programs.
- Proactively conceive of and design new and custom ad programs and products.
- Manage all aspects of trafficking within the Imageshack network. This includes implementation, targeting, billing, tech issues, etc.
- Make clients happy. Monitor campaign performance; ensure fulfillment; and manage campaign adjustments as necessary.
- Work with sales by communicating with clients, agencies, and partners to coordinate all aspects of campaign delivery, including creative placement, performance reporting, etc.
- Drive ongoing operational improvements through process optimization, automation, and business rules.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience with ad serving platforms (DFP/ATLAS/GAM/ADTECH) is required.
- BA/BS degree preferred.
- Minimum 4 years work experience in a trafficking or account management related role.
- Experience managing a team is preferred.
- HTML, CSS, and Web Site development skills preferred.
- Comfortable working with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detail oriented, organized and an ability to multi-task.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent reporting and analytics skills.
Software developer - Back End
ImageShack uses REST across a large mega-cluster of datacenters, which contain sub-clusters of Linux
servers. We are seeking individuals who will be responsible for the design, development and release of
ImageShack's core applications, including file system management, caching, database application
interfaces, and media delivery acceleration.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Develop ImageShack's core architecture.
Must have:
- a strong system architecture background.
- a thorough understanding of TCP/IP as well as back end application server development.
- a B.S. in Computer Science (or greater, or equivalent) experience.
- 5+ years of web software development experience.
- substantial expertise in popular web development languages, such as PHP and Python.
- an understanding of advanced programming database principles (SQL.)
- a comfortable knowledge of asynchronous network programming, distributed systems, fault tolerance, and scalability.
Software developer - Front End
Do you want to help ImageShack build next-generation web-driven applications? As a Front End
software developer, you will specialize in building responsive and elegant web UIs with technologies
such as AJAX and server-side PHP.
Must have:
- expert HTML, JavaScript and CSS skills with a strong interest in look and feel.
- significant development experience with PHP and other front end framework languages.
- experience designing modular, object-oriented JavaScript.
- experience with other UI frameworks such as XUL, Dojo, YUI, and XAML.
- a B.S. in Computer Science (or greater or equivalent).
- a proven track record of launching interactive web sites/applications.
- developed optimized and cross-platform front-end code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
